Two makes Zones for hunt seat at IHSA Regionals
OXFORD, Ohio - Two riders qualified for Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association Zones, as the Midway Equestrian Hunt Seat team competed at the IHSA Regionals on Saturday.
Abbie Wright and Jacqueline Raque both made it to Zones. Wright took first in the Open Flat division, while Raque was the runner-up in Introductory.
Five other Eagle riders had top-five finishes Saturday. Dylan Abrams was third in Novice, one spot ahead of teammate Bronwyn Wright. Halley Moak and Jessica Covey had fourth-place finishes as well, Moak in Intermediate Flat, Covey in Limit Fences.
That was one of two top-five showings for Covey, who was fifth in Limit Flat.
IHSA Zones will be in Westville, Ohio on April 6.
