Hunt seat takes part in Tournament of Champions

FINDLAY, Ohio - Midway Equestrian Hunt Seat riders accounted for nine top-five finishes at the Tournament of Spring Classic at Findlay University on Saturday.

Abbie Wright and Jessica Covey both landed third-place rides, Wright in open fences, Covey in intermediate flat.

Wright and Covey were also among the six Eagles to take fourth place. Wright was fourth in open flat, while Covey and Karissa Atteberry tied for fourth in intermediate fences.

Other fourth-placers were Reese Dorsey (limit flat), Jacqueline Raque (introductory) and Riley Whelan (low medal). In novice, Sam Gleason finished fifth.
