League of Legends teams stays perfect with win over Thomas College

MIDWAY, Ky. - Midway's top Esports team kept its perfect record in tact at the end of a short week of competition.

The Eagles' League of Legends team ran its record to 6-0 with a 2-0 victory over Thomas College (Maine) on Tuesday night in the only scheduled Esports match of the week.

Midway is now 6-0 in League of Legends competition this year, with all six wins coming by the final of 2-0. Dating back to last season, the Eagles have won eight-consecutive regular season matches, all by the same score.

LOL will attempt to stay unbeaten next Tuesday in a match against Louisville. Elsewhere, Rocket League will take on Transy on Thursday, Nov. 7, with Overwtach set to face Marquette (Wisc.) on Nov. 8.
