Men's bowling competes at Bowlero Southern Classic
MARIETTA, Ga. - Midway men's bowling took 16th at the two-day, tier-one Bowlero Southern Classic Tournament, which concluded on Sunday.
The Eagles had a total score of 9,016, getting a 3,415 in baker competition and a 5,601 in the team round.
Three Midway bowlers topped 1,000 pins, with Logan Tincher leading the way with a 1,259 overall and 209.83 average. Tincher started out with a 247 in game one and topped 200 pins in four of six rounds.
Charlie Smith had one of the best performances of the entire opening game, as his 254 tied for the third-best score of the round. Smith finished with a final score of 1,184 and 197.33 average.
Ryan Tuite (1,083, 180.5 average) also crossed four figures for the Eagles, who now have a three-week break before taking part in the NAIA BCA Invitational in Jeffersontown, Ky. on Nov. 22-24.
This is the final event on the Midway schedule until January.
